Herpa Lufthansa Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental “100 Years” – D-ABYN “Niedersachsen”

Following the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350, the “Queen of the Skies” now joins the lineup in Lufthansa's anniversary livery, featuring the iconic crane in XXL format. The Boeing 747-8, christened “Niedersachsen,” was painted in San Bernardino, California, and made its first scheduled flight in its new livery on March 6, flying from Frankfurt back to the western United States—this time to Los Angeles. Like all aircraft in the 100th-anniversary special series, the jumbo jet will also be available in a total of three versions: here as a 1:500 scale metal model, and in the future also as a model in our SnapFit series (1:250 scale) as well as a highly detailed collector’s model in 1:200 scale.
