Lufthansa Airbus A320neo “100 Years” – D-AING “Kerpen”
As a representative of the short- and medium-haul fleet, this A320neo was given a special livery to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the original Lufthansa in 1926. In January, the eight-year-old Airbus was repainted in the anniversary design in Norwich, England, in a process that took about eleven days. This A320neo complements the anniversary series, which Herpa will fully release over the course of the year. Already announced are the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and the Airbus A350-900, which, like this A320, will also be available in three versions: as a 1:500 scale metal model, as part of the Herpa SnapFit series, and as a highly detailed 1:200 scale collector’s model.
